This is the complete refurbishment of a building in the historic district of La Marina. The work in this area, in a world heritage city, represents a project adventure. The pre-existing 12th century cistern, as well as the stone arcade that stops the two bays of the building become the protagonists of this surgical action. The new elements reconfigure the original space and create new relationships and spatial dialogues between the different materials.
